Has either of these things actually been said about me? No, but at least I have your attention! The real Matt is a Digital Marketing & Demand Generation Specialist with over 6 years of experience. I have a wealth of knowledge in SEO and content strategy and am currently a Demand Generation Manager at August Jackson, an experiential marketing agency.

Over the course of my digital marketing career, I have worked on a variety of different campaigns from SEO and Content Development to Paid Search and Social. I still have a lot left to learn, but the most impactful lessons I've learned have been the result of throwing myself head first into real-world cases.

Challenge: Tall Order struggled to attract new users and build their customer base. Ranking only for their branded terms on page one, Tall Order was in desperate need of a content overhaul that would push the site to rank organically for non-branded terms and bring new users to the site.
Approach: I encouraged a content-heavy approach that would drastically increase the quantity and quality of non-branded keywords. This involved creating a content strategy, producing 2-4 blog briefs per month, optimizing collection & product pages, and making technical adjustments to the site.
Challenge: MotionPoint offers a wide variety of highly technical translation and localization solutions. Their website struggled to educate the target market properly and direct them toward a relevant CTA. MotionPoint had stretched their content thin and was in need of a content and demand generation strategy that drove qualified top-of-funnel traffic.
Approach: After conducting an audit and constructing a keyword map, it was clear that we had to reduce cannibalization and come up with an effective content strategy. Our strategy focused on developing new blogs, optimizing existing resources, and building whitepapers that we could leverage in a full-funnel LinkedIn Ads campaign.
Aside from work, I enjoy being in nature and spending time with friends and family. When Covid put everyone in lockdown, I got a bad case of cabin fever that ultimately led to the purchase of an old bus.
My girlfriend, her sister, her sister's girlfriend, and I (I know... try to keep up!) converted it into an RV. We spent a few months traveling the U.S and Canada, visiting National Parks, dealing with mechanical (and emotional) breakdowns, and getting some much needed hiking in.
